Intermediate (Grades 7-8)

Overview
The intermediate program focuses on building strong academic foundations and study habits to prepare students for high school. Students learn to prioritize assignments, set learning goals, and take responsibility for their work. They are taught effective study techniques and exam preparation, with exams given in core subjects like Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Geography, and French. Small class sizes allow for hands-on learning, in-depth discussions, and personalized teacher support.
Grade 7 and 8 students develop leadership skills by leading Peace Groups, assisting on field trips, and serving as role models during reading groups.
Each year, students participate in the University of Waterloo Gauss Math Contest, enhancing their problem-solving skills through curriculum-based challenges.
