At Kanata Academy, our academics are designed to empower students from preschool to Grade 12 to excel in their unique learning journeys. Divisions of Learning

Explore our tailored academic programs, divided into five stages, designed to meet the unique needs of students as they grow, learn, and prepare for future success.

2-4 Years

Preschool

A time for exploration, creativity, and foundational learning. Preschool students engage in hands-on activities, social interaction, and early literacy to develop confidence and a love for learning.

Elementary

Students build essential skills in reading, writing, and mathematics while fostering curiosity and a sense of accomplishment. Elementary learners participate in interactive projects and develop positive classroom habits.

Junior

Students expand their academic foundation and begin to explore collaborative work and independent problem-solving. This is a time to cultivate curiosity and prepare for more advanced learning in intermediate grades.

Intermediate

A transitional period where students refine critical thinking and leadership skills. Intermediate students explore interdisciplinary projects and prepare for high school rigor while balancing academics and extracurriculars.
